I have always wanted to rear turkeys in addition to the chicken I have but buying them was a bit costly for me. After saving some money from the cash for work activities with CORE, I knew that the opportunity to venture into the turkey business has come. I bought a female turkey from my neighbour at 80000 Ugx and added to my stock. I hope that my turkey will lay eggs and eventually increase in number. My ultimate target is to have a turkey farm because unlike chicken, they are more lucrative than chicken and can earn one revenue very fast.
